Nikon Eclipse E800 Microscope w/ Bio-Rad Radiance 2000 Confocal Scanning System

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

All units are in good used cosmetic condition though they do have various signs of general use.

The system consists of:

1 x Bio-Rad Radiance 2000 Laser Scanning System.

1 x Bio-Rad Motorised Focus Unit.

1 x Bio-Rad Optical Unit.

1 x Bio-Rad Green Microscope Cover.

1 x Nikon Eclipse E800 Microscope.

It is fitted with the following parts:

1 x Nikon Japan 061242.

1 x Nikon C-CU Universal Condenser 079532.

1 x Nikon Japan Mechanical Stage.

1 x Nikon VFM Fitted with:

1 x UV-2A.

1 x B-2A.

1 x V-2A.

1 x Nikon Japan Binocular Head 341796

Fitted with 2 x CIFUW 10x/25 eyepieces.

1 x Nikon C-LP Halogen Lamp. (has been tested as working, with a PSU from stock/no PSU included)

1 x Nikon Hg Mercury Lamp. (has been tested as working, with a PSU from stock/no PSU included)

The rear halogen lamp mount on the microscope was originally quite badly damaged. We have repaired it with resin and it now seems to be a lot better and more stable.

All of the rubber on the wheels of the Radiance has broken off, though the wheels do still roll.

The microscope has been tested with one of our slides and appears to work as it should. The Bio-Rad Radiance 2000 powers up fine but was not tested any further.
