Description
Vintage 10/01/2007
The Takaya APT-9401SL is a flying probe test platform used for electrical testing of printed circuit boards without the need for dedicated bed-of-nails fixtures. It is well suited for prototype, low-volume, high-mix, and engineering validation environments where fixtureless test capability, fast changeover, and flexible PCB coverage are important.
This system is designed to help manufacturers identify issues such as opens, shorts, component defects, incorrect values, polarity errors, and other assembly-level faults during PCB production or debug.
Key highlights:
- Fixtureless PCB electrical test capability
- Suitable for prototype, NPI, repair, and low-to-medium volume production
- Supports high-mix manufacturing environments
- Reduces the need for custom test fixtures
- Useful for board-level validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
The system is complete and in good known working condition at the time of decommissioning; it is currently plastic wrapped to remain clean and in warehouse storage
